This is part of a project that I was given about a month ago and that I just finished. The reason why it took me so long to finish is because I got cought up in details and got bored of it quite easily.
I started by painting the rocks and I spend at least ten hours on them. That's a long time, and I still had to paint the rest of the picture. I felt like I was never going to end it and therefore I lost motivation and stoped working on it for a while.
I have learned a lot from this painting though. It is best to paint the overall idea first and then go into detail, becuase detail is easy to add but if I waste all my energy on it I won´t have any left for the rest of the painting.
